Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side — with CH-49290

Special Tools

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
2. Disconnect the reverse light switch connector.




Note: The SPX installation manual is supplied with the special tool and is also available online from SPX directly. Go to www.spxtools-shop.com.

3. Assemble the CH-49290 engine support tool (1) according to the details provided in the SPX installation manual.
4. Install the torque support (2) to the engine.
5. Support the CH-904 base frame on a jack.
6. Support the CH-49290 engine support tool on the CH-904 base frame.




Note: The SPX installation manual is supplied with the special tool and is also available online from SPX directly.

7. Install the CH-49290 engine support tool (1) according to the details provided in the SPX installation manual.
8. Remove the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement - Left Side : with CH-49290 → with EN-50176 .



9. Remove the left transmission mount bracket bolt (1).
10. Remove the left transmission mount bracket (2).

1. Install the left transmission mount bracket (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the left transmission mount bracket bolts (1), and tighten to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).
3. Install the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement - Left Side : with CH-49290 → with EN-50176 .



4. Remove the CH-49290 engine support tool (1).
5. Remove the CH-49290 engine support tool from the CH-904 base frame.
6. Remove the CH-904 base frame from the jack.



7. Disassemble the CH-49290 engine support tool (1).
8. Remove the torque support (2) from the engine.
9. Install the left transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement - Left Side : with CH-49290 → with EN-50176 .
10. Connect the reverse light switch connector.
11. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
