Sump Removal

EN-37228 Separation Tool

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Note: For vehicles with air conditioning

1. Remove the 4 air conditioning compressor bracket bolts (1).
2. Remove the air conditioning compressor bracket (2).



3. Remove the 3 transmission support brace bolts (2).
4. Remove the transmission support brace (1).



5. Remove the 13 oil sump bolts (2) the from oil sump (1).



6. Carefully loosen the oil sump (2) from lower engine block with EN-37228 separation tool  (1).



7. Remove the sump (1).
