Timing Chain Tensioner Installation

Special Tools

EN-50513 Locking Pin .

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools

1. Clean the surfaces from the cylinder head and the timing chain tensioner.



2. Install EN-50513 locking pin  (2).
3. Install the timing chain tensioner (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

4. Install the 2 timing chain tensioner bolts (3) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).



5. Remove the EN-50513 locking pin  (2).
