Stabiliser Shaft Replacement

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .




Note: Hold the link with a wrench during nut removal.

2. Remove the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft nuts.



3. Remove the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts.
4. Remove the stabilizer shaft from the stabilizer link ball studs, while removing the stabilizer shaft from the vehicle.

1. Position the stabilizer shaft in the vehicle, while installing the links on the stabilizer shaft.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).




Note: Hold the link with a wrench during nut installation.

3. Install the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft nuts and tighten to 115 N·m (85 lb ft).
4. Lower the vehicle.
