Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Installation

  1. Install a NEW gasket onto the thermostat housing.

  2. Install the thermostat housing .

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the thermostat housing bolts. Be sure to install the short bolts (1) and the long bolt (2) in the proper position and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
