Bonnet Adjustment

1. Loosen the hinge-to-body bolts to adjust the bonnet fore and aft, and cross-vehicle. Position the bonnet as needed.



2. Adjust the bonnet latch and bonnet bumpers to adjust the bonnet up and down at the front of the bonnet.

Caution : Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Tighten the hinge and latch bolts.

Tighten

•	Tighten the hinge-to-bonnet bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

•	Tighten the hinge-to-body bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

•	Tighten the bonnet latch fastener to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
