Theft Deterrent Vehicle Inclination Sensor Replacement

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the left front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the inclination sensor.
4. Remove the inclination sensor from the bracket by sliding the sensor rearward.
5. Remove the bracket by removing the bolts, if needed.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the inclination sensor in the bracket with bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N m (7 lb ft).
2. Install the inclination sensor on the bracket.
3. Connect the inclination sensor connector.
4. Install the left front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
