Preliminary Procedure

Using a J 25070 in a circular motion, warm the rear bumper fascia step pad prior to removal. Carefully clean the panel thoroughly prior to bonding the new fascia step pad to the rear fascia.

Rear Bumper Fascia Step Pad

Caution : Refer to Exterior Trim Emblem Removal Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Clean the adhesive tape from the surface of the rear fascia and dry thoroughly before applying the new step pad.
2. Peel the protective backing from the step pad and ensure no foreign matter or dirt comes in contact with the adhesive backing prior to installation.
3. Install the step pad and apply pressure to ensure full adhesion to the rear fascia.
