Preliminary Procedures

1. With the ignition key On, engine OFF, electrically park the rear window wiper arm mid-way on the rear window.
2. Remove the tailgate trim panel. Refer to Tailgate Trim Panel Replacement : Long Body  → Short Body .
3. Access the rear parking arm ramp bolts inside the tailgate assembly.
4. After replacement of the NEW rear window wiper arm parking ramp, electrically PARK the rear window wiper arm.

Tighten
3 N·m (27 lb in)

Rear Window Wiper Arm Parking Ramp

Tip
Using a small protected flat-bladed tool, gently pry the top edge of the ramp from the tailgate outer panel.
