Warning :  When a bonnet hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

Preliminary Procedure

Disconnect the hood strut. Refer to Hood Strut Replacement : Short Body  → Long Body .

Bonnet Hinge Bolt (Qty: 4)

Caution : Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Transfer components as necessary.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)
