Preliminary Procedures

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
3. Remove the charge air cooler outlet duct. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Duct Replacement

Procedure

Disengage tension on the heater inlet hose clip using BO-38185 Hose Clip Pliers
