Piston, Connecting Rod, and Bearing Removal

1. Remove the 8 big end bearing cap bolts (3).




Note: Mark and confirm the big end bearing cap (1) position to ensure they are installed in the same position for assembly. Apply identification mark if not present.

2. Remove the 4 connecting rod bearing caps (2).




Note: Take extreme care to prevent damage to the cylinder bore surface, piston ring and piston surface.

3. Remove the 4 pistons with 4 connecting rods (1) push to the top of the engine block.

Note: 

•	Mark the position of the connecting rod bearings (4) for assembly.

•	Take extreme care to prevent any scratches or damages to the connecting rod bearings.

4. Remove the 8 big end bearings (4).
