Engine Front Cover Removal

1. Remove the camshaft cover. Refer to Camshaft Cover Removal .
2. Remove the sump. Refer to Lower Oil Sump Removal : LNP  → LNQ or Upper Oil Sump Removal : LNP  → LNQ .
3. Remove the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Removal : LNP  → LNQ .
4. Remove the crankshaft pulley. Refer to Crankshaft Pulley Removal .
5. Remove the engine oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Removal
6. Remove the timing chain front cover retaining bolts (1).
7. Remove the timing chain front cover (2) and crankshaft front oil seal (3).
