Preliminary Procedures

1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
3. Disconnect the quick connectors. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service and Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Disengage the line from the plastic retainers.
