EN-50432 Flywheel Fixing Adaptor

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Flywheel Fastener (Qty: 6)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
160 N·m (118 lb ft)

Flywheel

Procedure

Inspect the engine flywheel for the following:

1. Stress cracks around the engine flywheel.
2. Cracks at welded areas that retain the ring gear onto the engine flywheel .
3. Damaged or missing ring gear teeth .
4. Do not attempt to repair the welded areas that retain the ring gear to the engine flywheel plate. Install a new engine flywheel.
