1. Remove the instrument cluster.
2. Check the parking assist warning indicator bulb.

Is the bulb OK?

Replace the warning indicator bulb.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Check the parking assist warning fuse F13 in the I/P fuse block.

Is the fuse F13 blown?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

1. Check for a short circuit and repair if necessary.
2. Replace the fuse F13.

Is the repair complete?

-

System OK

-

1. Turn the ignition ON.
2. Check the voltage at fuse F13.

Is the voltage within the specified value?

9-16 V

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Repair the open power supply circuit for fuse F13.

Is the repair complete?

-

System OK

-

Check for an open circuit or short to ground between fuse F13 and the cluster.

Did you find and correct the condition?

-

System OK

Go to Step 8

1. Disconnect the connector of parking assist control module.
2. Check for an open circuit or short to ground between the terminal 12 of cluster and the terminal 15 of parking assist control module.

Did you find and correct the condition?

-

System OK

Go to Step 9

Check for an open circuit between the ground circuit and the control module.

Did you find and correct the condition?

-

System OK

Go to Step 10

1. Replace the parking assist control module.
2. Perform the BCM reprogramming procedure.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Parking Assist System Malfunction : UFR Long Wheel Base and UD7 → UFR Short Wheel Base
