Oil Pan Installation

Note: Ensure that the oil pump housing surface is clear of oil, grease and old gasket material.

1. Coat sealant on the oil pan sealing surface.



2. Install the oil pan (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the 2 oil pan bolts (2) and tighten to 11 N·m (98 lb in).
4. Install the 13 oil pan bolts (3) and tighten to 11 N·m (98 lb in).
