Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove fuel tank filler door. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement .
3. Drain fuel tank if necessary. If the fuel level is over half filled. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining .
4. Remove rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .
5. Remove fuel tank filler pipe housing. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement .
6. Disconnect the fuel tank filler evaporative emission pipe.
