Engine Flywheel Installation

Special Tools

For equivalent regional tools refer to Special Tools .

1. Install EN-652 fixing tool in order to fix the engine flywheel.
2. Recut the 8 threads in the crankshaft.



3. Install the engine flywheel (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Caution: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

4. Install 8 NEW engine flywheel bolts (2) and tighten in the following order:

4.1.	Tighten the bolts to 85 N·m (63 lb ft).

4.2.	Tighten to an additional 30° using the EN-45059 torque angle sensor .

4.3.	Tighten to an additional 15° using the EN-45059 torque angle sensor .

5. Remove EN-652 fixing tool .
