Fuel Injector Installation

Special Tools

EN-48560 Adjuster

For equivalent regional tools refer to Special Tools .

1. Install the 4 fuel injectors (1). Use NEW fuel injector seal rings.



2. Install the 4 fuel injector brackets (3).
3. Loosely install the 4 fuel injector bracket bolts (1) and the washers (2).



4. Install EN-48560 adjuster  (1) in order to justify the fuel injectors.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

5. Tighten the fuel injector bracket bolts in the following order:

•	Tighten the 4 fuel injector bracket bolts to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).

•	Loosen the 4 fuel injector bracket bolts.

•	Tighten the 4 fuel injector bracket bolts again to 32 N·m (24 lb ft).

6. Remove EN-48560 adjuster .
