Engine Block Assemble

Note: Ensure that no dirt or metal chips contaminate the crankshaft position sensor housing.

1. Install the crankshaft position sensor (5).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the crankshaft position sensor bolt (6) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
3. Install the oil pressure relief valve (3). Install a NEW seal ring (2).
4. Tighten the oil pressure relief valve to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
5. Install the oil pressure check valve (4). Install a NEW seal ring (1).
6. Tighten the oil pressure check valve to 21 N·m (15 lb ft).
