Timing Belt Inspection

1. Set cylinder 1 to TDC of combustion stroke and secure camshaft sprocket in position using TDC locking bolt (M6x25) (1).




Note: If the setting is correct, the mark (2) on the crankshaft pulley is in line with mark (1) on the oil pump cover.

Note: If the setting is not correct, the timing must be adjust. Refer to Timing Belt Adjustment .

2. Check the crankshaft position.
