Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Assemble

1. Note the assembly position of the thermostat. The mark (1) must point upwards.



2. Install a NEW water outlet gasket (3).
3. Install the thermostat (4) to the thermostat housing (2).
4. Install the water outlet (5).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

5. Install the 2 water outlet bolts (6) and tighten to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).
6. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor (1). Use a NEW seal ring.
7. Tighten the engine coolant temperature sensor to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
