Engine Flywheel Cleaning and Inspection

1. Clean the engine flywheel (2) in solvent.

Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning in the Preface section.

2. Dry the flywheel with compressed air.
3. Inspect the engine flywheel (2) for the following:

•	Damaged ring gear teeth (1)

•	Stress cracks around the flywheel-to-crankshaft bolt hole locations (3)
