Inlet Manifold Removal - 1.7L Diesel LUD, LUE

1. Remove the inlet manifold bracket bolt (1).



2. Disconnect the vacuum hose (1) from the vacuum pump.



3. Disconnect the 2 turbocharger wastegate actuator control solenoid valve vacuum hoses (2).
4. Disconnect the temperature sensor wiring harness plug (1) from the retainer clip.



5. Remove the 2 fuel rail bracket bolts (3).
6. Remove the 2 intake manifold nuts (4).

Note: The 6 inlet manifold bolts remain in the inlet manifold screw bores.

7. Remove the 6 inlet manifold bolts (2).
8. Remove the intake manifold (1) along with the intake manifold gasket.
