Camshaft Cover Installation - 1.7L Diesel LUD, LUE

  1. Clean the sealing surfaces.
  2. Install a NEW camshaft cover gasket (4).
  3. Install 4 NEW fuel injector seal rings.
  4. Install the camshaft cover (3).

    5. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  5. Install the 8 camshaft cover bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
  6. Install the 2 camshaft cover nuts (2) and tighten to 10N·m (89 lb in).
