Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Installation - 1.7L Diesel LUD, LUE

  1. Install the catalytic converter heat shield (3).

    2. Note: Guide the heated oxygen sensor wiring harness plug through the catalytic converter heat shield bore (1).

  2. Clip the heated oxygen sensor wiring harness plug to the retainer clip.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the 3 catalytic converter heat shield bolts (2) and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
