Fuel Injection Fuel Return Hose Removal - 1.7L Diesel LUD, LUE

Caution: Clean all fuel pipe and hose connections and surrounding areas before disassembling to avoid possible contamination of the fuel system. Spray the fuel pump module cam-lock ring tab with penetrating oil prior to attempting removal.

1. Disconnect the 4 fuel injector fuel return hose clips (1).



2. Unclip the fuel injector fuel return hose from the retainer clips.
3. Remove the fuel injector fuel return hose banjo bolt (2) and the 2 seal rings (1).
4. Remove the fuel injector fuel return hose bracket bolt (4).
5. Remove the fuel injector fuel return hose clamp (6).

Note: Plug the fuel injectors and the fuel injection pump in order to prevent contamination.

6. Disconnect the fuel injection fuel return hose (5) from the fuel injectors.
7. Remove the fuel injector fuel return hose (5).
8. Install the fuel injector fuel return hose banjo bolt (2) to the pressure limiter valve to prevent contamination.
