Fuel Injection Fuel Return Hose Installation - 1.7L Diesel LUD, LUE

1. Remove the fuel injector fuel return hose banjo bolt (2).
2. Connect the fuel injection fuel return hose (5) to the fuel injectors.
3. Install the fuel injector fuel return hose clamp (6) and tighten.
4. Install the fuel injector fuel return hose bracket bolt (4) and tighten.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

5. Install the fuel injector fuel return hose banjo bolt (2). Install 2 NEW seal rings (1). Tighten the banjo bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
6. Clip the fuel injector fuel return hose to the retainer clips.

Warning: Refer to Fuel Pipe Fitting Warning in the Preface section.

7. Connect the 4 NEW fuel injector fuel return hose clips (3) to the fuel injectors.
