1. Power Sunroof/Sunshade Malfunction |
The sunroof ventilation position select switch is connected directly to the controller and provide detent positions for open, off and close. The control switch completes the circuit between two signals provided by the control module, a reference ground Input and a pull-up voltage provided by the analog to digital switch input. The control switch places a different resistor ladder network in the circuit depending on the function selected. The controllers analog to digital switch input reads the resulting voltage range and determines the function.
The ignition is ON.
The sunroof module has detected and reported via the LIN-Bus that the sunroof ventilation position select switch circuit is shorted to ground.
The sunroof module has detected and reported via the LIN-Bus that the sunroof ventilation position select switch circuit is open or shorted to voltage.
The sunroof module has detected, and reported via the LIN-Bus, that the sunroof ventilation position select switch has been in the same active position for 20 s after the glass stopped moving in the requested direction due to its reaching the end of the allowable motion.
DTC B369C is stored in the body control module (BCM) memory.
The BCM no longer detects a malfunction in the sunroof ventilation position select switch circuit.

⇒ | If greater than the specified value, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the signal circuit terminal 4 for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K61 Sunroof Control Module. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K61 Sunroof Control Module. |
⇒ | If not within the specified range, replace the S88 Sunroof Tilt Switch. |
⇒ | If not within the specified range, replace the S88 Sunroof Tilt Switch. |
⇒ | If not within the specified range, replace the S88 Sunroof Tilt Switch. |
