1. May exhibit possible AM/FM interference. |
The multi-band antenna is located on the roof of the vehicle. The radio aerial is enabled when the radio is turned on. The radio provides battery voltage to the aerial using the centre conductor of the aerial coaxial cable. When a 12 V signal is seen on the centre conductor of the aerial coax, both AM and FM signals are amplified.
• | Ignition ON. |
• | Battery voltage must be between 9-16 V. |
The radio detects a short to ground in the aerial signal circuit centre conductor.
The radio detects an open in the aerial signal circuit centre conductor.
Radio reception may be poor or not available.
• | The condition responsible for setting the DTC no longer exists. |
• | A history DTC will clears after 50 consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycles have occurred. |
