Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the rear side door trim. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Replacement .
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
3. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .

Procedure

1. Transfer the handle and lock rods to the new outside door handle housing.
2. Inspect the lock, lock cylinder and handle adjustments. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Rod Adjustment .
