Procedure

Removal and installation of the headliner must be completed through the tailgate hatch opening. Always service with the aid of an assistant to prevent kinking or damage to the headliner. Take additional care when removing the headlining trim with a sunroof cutout. The trim material forward of the sunroof cutout is prone to creasing if not handled properly. When installing a new headliner, tape any unused connector to the headliner with a high adhesive tape.
