Preliminary Procedures

Remove charge air cooler outlet hose. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Hose Replacement : LNP and Manual Transmission → LNP and Automatic Transmission .

Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Nut

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)

Sealing Washer

Procedure

DISCARD the sealing washer and use NEW only.

Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe

Procedure

1. Note the routing of the transmission pipe to ensure proper installation.
2. Disconnect the transmission pipe from the radiator and transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
3. Remove the transmission pipe from the clips securing the line to the transmission and inlet pipe.
4. Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check .
