Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement — 2.0L LBN and 2.4L LAF

1. Remove the engine coolant thermostat housing. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement : 2.0L LBN and 2.4L LAF → 2.0L Diesel LNP → 1.6L LDE, LXV, 1.8L LUW, 2H0 and LFH .




Note: Ensure that the radiator outlet pipe (2) does not fall down.

2. Remove the 3 thermostat housing bolts (3) and the thermostat housing (1).

1. Install the thermostat housing (1) to the radiator outlet pipe (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the 3 thermostat housing bolts (3) and tighten to 10 N·m 89 (lb in)
3. Install the engine coolant thermostat housing. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement : 2.0L LBN and 2.4L LAF → 2.0L Diesel LNP → 1.6L LDE, LXV, 1.8L LUW, 2H0 and LFH .
