Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection : without Start/Stop System .
2. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
3. Clip out the radiator surge tank inlet hose from the camshaft cover. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose/Pipe Replacement .
4. Remove the throttle body. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
5. Move the intake manifold insulator carefully aside.
