1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Inlet Manifold Replacement .

Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fastener (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. It is necessary to rebuild the fuel injectors. Refer to Fuel Injector Replacement .
