Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
2. Remove evaporative emission canister tube. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube Replacement .
3. Unclip the engine wiring harness from the camshaft cover.
4. Remove the 4 ignition coils. Refer to Ignition Coil Replacement .
5. Remove the camshaft actuator solenoid valves. Refer to Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Replacement .

Camshaft Cover Bolt (Qty: 11)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)
