Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Installation

  1. Install a NEW PCV valve gasket (1).
  2. Install the PCV valve (3).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the 2 PCV valve nuts (4) and tighten to 11 N·m (98 lb in).
  4. Install the wiring harness plug to the vacuum modulator (2).
  5. Install the 2 PCV valve vacuum hoses (5) to the vacuum pipe and EGR valve.
