Air Cleaner Element Replacement

1. Disconnect the mass airflow sensor wiring harness plug (1) from the mass airflow sensor (2).
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet front duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement .



3. Remove the 6 air filter bolts (1) and open the upper air cleaner housing (2).
4. Remove the air filter element (3).

1. Install the air filter element (3).
2. Close the upper air cleaner housing (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the 6 air filter bolts (1) and tighten to 2 N·m(18 lb in).
4. Install the air cleaner outlet front duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement .



5. Connect the mass airflow sensor wiring harness plug (1) at the mass airflow sensor (2).
