Camshaft Installation

Note: Take extreme care to prevent any scratches, nicks or damage to the camshafts.

1. Install the camshaft (4).



2. Coat the RTV sealant on the camshaft front (1) / rear (2) bearing cap surface (arrows).




Note: 

•	Check the camshaft bearing cap (3) surface. If some damages or dusts, it is needed to clean or replace.

•	Ensure that the cylinder head surface is clear of oil, grease and old gasket material.

3. Install the camshaft bearing caps (3).
4. Install the 10 camshaft bearing cap bolts (1, 2).
