Oil Pump Assemble

Note: Guarantee that no dirt contaminate the oil pump assembly.

1. Install the oil pump inner rotor (8).
2. Install the oil pump outer rotor (9).
3. Install the oil pump cover (10).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Note: Insert bolts with bolt locking compound. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .

4. Install the 3 oil pump cover bolts (11) and tighten to 11 N·m (97 lb in).
5. Install the oil pressure relief valve (7).
6. Install the oil pressure relief valve spring (6).
7. Install the oil pressure relief valve gasket (5).
8. Install the oil pressure relief valve bore plug (4) and tighten to 65 N·m (48 lb ft).
9. Install the oil pump seal (3).
10. Install the engine oil pressure sensor gasket (2)
11. Install the engine oil pressure sensor (1) and tighten to 30 N·m (23 lb ft).
