Sump Installation

Note: Ensure that the oil pump housing surface is clear of oil, grease and old gasket material.

1. Coat sealant on the sump sealing surface.



2. Install the sump (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the 2 sump bolts (2) and tighten to 11 N·m (98 lb in).
4. Install the 13 sump bolts (3) and tighten to 11 N·m (98 lb in).
