Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement

Warning: Refer to Petrol/Petrol Vapours Warning in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .



3. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (1) from the fuel feed pipe connector (4).
4. Unclip the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the bracket clip (2).
5. Open the bracket clip (3) and remove the fuel feed pipe.
6. Remove the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .



7. Remove the 4 exhaust pipe front hanger bolts (2).
8. Remove and DISCARD the drivetrain and front suspension frame bolt (3)
9. Remove the drivetrain and front suspension frame.



10. Unclip the fuel feed pipe (1) from the 4 bracket clips (2).



11. Unclip the fuel feed pipe (3) from the rear bracket clip (2).
12. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (3) from the fuel feed pipe connector (1).
13. Remove the fuel feed pipe (3).

1. Install the fuel feed pipe (3).
2. Connect the fuel feed pipe (3) to the fuel feed pipe connector (1).
3. Clip in the fuel feed pipe (3) to the rear bracket clip (2).



4. Clip in the fuel feed pipe (1) to the 4 bracket clips (2).



5. Install the drivetrain and front suspension frame.

Warning: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Warning in the Preface section.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

6. Install the NEW drivetrain and front suspension frame bolt (3) and tighten to 120 N·m (89 lb ft) + 130°.
7. Install the 4 exhaust pipe front hanger bolts (2) and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
8. Install the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .



9. Install the fuel feed pipe (1) and look the bracket clip (3).
10. Clip in the fuel feed front pipe (1) to the bracket clip (2).
11. Connect the fuel feed pipe (1) from the fuel feed pipe connector (4).
12. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
13. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
