Clutch Actuator Cylinder Replacement - D16

1. Remove the manual transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .



2. Detach the clutch actuator cylinder pipe (3) from the clutch actuator cylinder (2).
3. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder bolts (1).



4. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder (1).
5. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder seal (2).

1. Install the clutch actuator cylinder seal (2).
2. Install the clutch actuator cylinder (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




3. Install the clutch actuator cylinder bolts (1) and tighten to 7 N·m(62 lb in).
4. Attach the clutch actuator cylinder pipe (3) to the clutch actuator cylinder (2) and tighten to 18 N·m (14 lb ft).
5. Install the manual gearbox. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
6. Bleed the hydraulic clutch system. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch System Bleeding .
7. Fill the reservoir with clutch/brake fluid up to the MAX level.
