Glow Plug Installation

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the 4 glow plugs (1) and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in).



2. Install the 4 glow plug wiring harness plugs (1).



3. Install the glow plug heat shield (1).
4. Install the engine lift bracket nut (2) and tighten to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).
5. Install the 3 glow plug heat shield bolts (3) and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
