Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Replacement

1. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield. Refer to Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Replacement : 1.4L LUH and LUJ → 1.6L LDE, LXV, 1.8L 2H0, and LUW → 2.0L Diesel LLW .



2. Remove the turbocharger oil feed pipe bolt (1).
3. Remove the 2 turbocharger oil feed pipe bolt gaskets (5).
4. Raise the vehicle by its full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
5. Remove the turbocharger oil feed pipe bolt (3).
6. Remove the 2 turbocharger oil feed pipe bolt gaskets (2).
7. Remove the turbocharger oil feed pipe (4).

1. Install the turbocharger oil feed pipe (4).
2. Install NEW turbocharger oil feed pipe bolt gaskets (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the turbocharger oil feed pipe bolt (3) and tighten to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).
4. Lower the vehicle by its full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
5. Install NEW turbocharger oil feed pipe bolt gaskets (5).
6. Install the turbocharger oil feed pipe bolt (1) and tighten to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).
7. Install the catalytic converter heat shield. Refer to Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Replacement : 1.4L LUH and LUJ → 1.6L LDE, LXV, 1.8L 2H0, and LUW → 2.0L Diesel LLW .
