Timing Belt Rear Cover Replacement

1. Remove the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .
2. Remove the fuel injection pump drive pulley. Refer to Fuel Injection Pump Drive Pulley Removal .




Note: Mark the bolts because of different length.

3. Remove the 4 timing belt rear cover bolts (2).
4. Remove the timing belt rear cover (1).

1. Install the timing belt rear cover (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the 4 timing belt rear cover bolts (2) and tighten to 11 N·m (98 lb in)..
3. Install the fuel injection pump drive pulley. Refer to Fuel Injection Pump Drive Pulley Installation .
4. Install the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .
