Tappet Replacement

EN-845 Suction Device

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

1. Remove the camshaft. Refer to Camshaft Replacement : 1.6L LDE, LXV, and 1.8L 2H0 .




Note: Mark the assignments.

2. Remove the 16 tappets (1) use the EN-845 suction device .

Note: Observe the correct assignment.

Note: Coat the sliding surfaces with NEW engine oil.

1. Install the 16 tappets (1) use the EN-845 suction device .
2. Install the camshaft. Refer to Camshaft Replacement : 1.6L LDE, LXV, and 1.8L 2H0 .
