Belt Idler Pulley Replacement

1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Alternator, Air Conditioning Compressor, and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement .
2. Lower the vehicle at full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .



3. Remove the drive belt idler pulley bolt (2).
4. Remove drive belt idler pulley (1).

1. Install the drive belt idler pulley (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the drive belt idler pulley bolt and tighten to 52 N·m (38 lb ft).
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
4. Install the drive belt. Refer to Alternator, Air Conditioning Compressor, and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement .
